Kisan Sampark Abhiyan Phase 3 takes off in Samba District

SAMBA, May 08: The third leg of “Kisan Sampark Abhiyan”- under Holistic Agriculture Development Program (HADP) was conducted across   Samba district to familiarise the farmers about HADP and other central schemes for development of agriculture and allied activities.  

The outreach initiative was launched by the Agriculture Production Department J & K Govt on April 24,2023 which shall continue till August 31, 2023.

During the third phase, the farmers orientation is being organized at nine venues at panchayat level ( Panchayat Naran, Supwal, Sarna, Madoon, Palli, Lagwal, Deon, Bagla Suchani and Goran) of all the nine blocks of the District Samba.

 On the Day One today, 357 farmers attended the orientation program and baseline data of all the participating farmers was captured on spot.

 During the outreach program, videos on various UT /CSS projects / schemes were shown to the farmers by the resource persons from agriculture and allied sectors to encourage them to increase their occupational production and simultaneously adopt the new marketing modules so as to raise themselves from the level of a simple farmer to the level of an entrepreneur. Besides, the district Heads of the Agriculture and the allied sectors and Prabhari Officers also visited various venues to  monitor  the orientation events.
