Kishtwar Administration braces up to reenroll out of School Children

DC discusses seven-point agenda under Operation TALASH/ Back2School campaign

KISHTWAR, DECEMBER 26: Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Dr Devansh Yadav, today directed all officers of the Education Department of the district to start a sustained campaign to reenroll all 2157 dropouts/out-of-school children in the District.

 Speaking to the officers of the department during a virtual meeting,  he shared a seven-point template on which all stakeholders have to work to achieve the goal of covering and enrolling all out of the school children.

He asked Chief Education Officer, DIET Principal and all ZEOs to work on the probable seven-point agenda in collaboration with SAMAGRA authorities and follow the other guidelines too with regard to enrolment of the drop outs.

While intimating all officers about the support to be provided by district administration via social welfare department, RDD and DIET, he asked the stakeholders to find out the reasons for the school dropout of the children besides finding out the solution for their reenrollment.

The Deputy Commissioner further instructed to practically do the needful and to show results on ground with regard to the mission back to school.

  Chief Education Officer Sudarshan Kumar Sharma, DIET Principal Ashok Kumar and Sr. Lecturer DIET Riaz Ahmed Butt also spoke in the meeting and shared their views with all stakeholders.
