Kishtwar: Nutrition Support Programme launched for students of Schools & Orphanages
KISHTWAR, October 27: Dr. Devansh Yadav, Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, today launched Nutrition Support program for students of Schools and Orphanages sponsored by a local NGO Social Reforms & Charitable Organisation Kishtwar (SRCO) in partnership with Dabur India Ltd. The Nutrition support programme aims at benefiting the students of Government schools, orphanages, and Palash community.
The initiative was inaugurated in presence of the management team of the Organisation by distribution of nutritious juice packets among the inmates of Ashiana, Batul-Hilal, Alfala, Govt. Palash, and students of Kidzee, among others.
Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar commended Dabur India Ltd. for their dedication in partnering with SRCO to launch this meaningful program in the Kishtwar District.
Following the formal commencement, the distribution of these beneficial juice packets continued in the Education Cluster Nagseni, under the supervision of cluster head Dr. Riaz-ul-Haq.
Sanjeev Parihar, President of SRCO Kishtwar, provided insight into the program, stating that the distribution will be ongoing for the next seven days, with an estimated reach of approximately 20,000 individuals, including youths and students. He expressed his gratitude to Dabur India Ltd. for their support and expressed the organization’s desire to sustain and expand this noble initiative in the future.
