Kishtwar: Social Welfare Department organises Medical Camp at Panchayat Cheerji

KISHTWAR, February 13: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Dr. Devansh Yadav, Social Welfare Department, in Collaboration with Health & Family Welfare Department, organised a Medical Camp at Panchayat Cheerji of Block Nagseni, today.

District Social Welfare Officer, Zubair Ahmed supervised the camp, which began with an awareness session on Pension Schemes of Social Welfare department viz Old Age Pension Scheme, Widow Pension Scheme, Physically Challenged & Transgender Pension Scheme. Detailed information was also given with regard to requisition of documents for applying online on JAN SUGAM Portal for availing the benefits of Pension Schemes in the light of fresh guidelines of the Govt.

As many as 164 Age Certificates were issued to the Pensioners/ Beneficiaries.

Sarpanch of the area expressed his thanks to the District Administration Kishtwar for organising the Age Assessment Camps in the far flung areas of the District.
