Kulgam Police apprehends 2 for drug peddling; 50 Kg Poppy Straw recovered

KULGAM, 3 March: Continuing its operations to eradicate the drug menace from society, District Police Kulgam, arrested two drug peddlers.  

The accused have been identified as Yawer Ah Rather, resident of Waghama & Zeeshan Ashraf, resident of Pehro, Anantnag.

As per prima-facie, 50 Kg of Poppy Straw has been recovered from their possession.

A case in this regard has been registered, and further investigation is being taken up.
