KVIB organises awareness camp at ITI Ramban

RAMBAN, FEBRUARY 14:  Khadi Village & Industries Board,   today organized a seminar cum awareness camp at Industrial Training Institute Ramban to create awareness among trainees regarding PMEGP, JKREGP scheme being implemented by KVIB, Ramban.

At the outset,  Senior Supervisor KVIB, Ghulam Qadir welcomed   Chief Guest,    Lead District Manager  Abdul Rashid Sofi, District Officer, KVIB, Farooq Ahmed Baba and highlighted the schemes being implemented by the KVIB to encourage the youth to become job creators instead of job seekers.

Block investigator, DIC, Ravi Danaishwar Singh, also elaborated the PMEGP and PM Vishwakarma scheme and sensitized the participants about procedure and uploading of application forms for seeking the benefits of the scheme besides the importance of enrolment with DIC. The students of ITI were told about various benefits / subsidies they can get to start their own ventures by financial assistance under the PMEGP Scheme in manufacturing and service sectors.

The aspiring students were motivated by the scheme and they were willing to step ahead to avail benefit after completion of their courses under the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) and JKREGP implemented by the KVIB, Ramban.
