KVIB Ramban organises awareness camp

RAMBAN, March 17: J&K Khadi & Village Industries Board (KVIB) Ramban organised an awareness camp at Government ITI Kowgh Bagh. The aim was to inform trainees about different self-employment schemes being implemented by KVIB in the district.

District Officer KVIB Ramban, Mohd Ishaq Gattu provided detailed information about the schemes. He encouraged unemployed youth and budding entrepreneurs to take advantage of government-sponsored schemes such as PMEGP & JKREGP.

He further stated that these schemes aimed to reduce migration from rural to urban areas in search of opportunities. Both schemes are available online and can be applied for via smartphone on the PMEGP & JKREGP websites. Pamphlets for both schemes were also distributed among participants.
