KVIC Reasi hosts awareness Programme on PMEGP

REASI, February 28: Khadi & Village Industries Commission, State Office Jammu, on Tuesday organized an awareness programme on Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) scheme here in the Government General Zorawar Singh Memorial Degree College, Reasi. The awareness programme was held to sensitize the people about the PMEGP scheme.

The College Principal addressed the gathering as the Chief Guest and spoke on the benefits of the PMEGP scheme. He motivated the gathering particularly the educated unemployed youth towards entrepreneurship. He urged them to enroll under various vocational training thus enabling them to hone their skill and further create employment for themselves under the assistance of PMEGP schemes.

Anil Sharma, Assistant Director, KVIC encouraged the participants to take advantage of the PMEGP schemes and displayed the success stories to participants. The participants were very enthusiastic after attending the awareness programme and they thanked KVIC staff for organizing the awareness programme in Reasi.
