Labour and FCS&CA Departments organise camps for issuance of ration cards to e-Shram registrants across Ramban
RAMBAN, JULY 26: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Ramban, and Labour Commissioner J&K, Departments of Labour and FCS&CA conducted joint camps at various places in district Ramban to make e-Shram workers aware about their rights and identifying those e-Shram workers who do not have ration cards.
Today the camps were held at Panchayat Chareel, Panchayat Nowgam of Block Banihal, BDO office Gandhri, and in Block Ukhral.
Officials of the Labour Department along with concerned TSOs and storekeepers of the Food Department have attended camps and 31 e-Shram registrants have been identified in these camps who already have ration cards.
Initially there were 1816 numbers of e-Shram registrants in district Ramban who had been found without ration cards as per data on e-Shram portal.
The ALC urged all those e-Shram registrants to visit the office of concerned TSO, or AD, FCS&CA or ALC office Ramban or may call at the given contact number in the district website, with regard to the issuance of ration card. The list of these 1816 has also been shared on the official website of the District Administration Ramban.
