Labour Deptt organises Awareness Camp at Bandipora
Disseminates information for e-Sharm registrants regarding availing of Ration Cards
BANDIPORA, JANUARY 30: Labour Department Bandipora on Tuesday organised an awareness camp for the beneficiaries of e-Shram card holders at town hall Bandipora.
The primary objective of this camp was to create awareness among the general public, with a specific focus on unorganized workers, regarding the upcoming camp/ programme to be organized by the Department of Food, Civil Safety and Consumer Affairs, District Bandipora.
The camp aimed at disseminating crucial information about the forthcoming special camp/program is scheduled for February 02 and February 03, throughout UT of Jammu and Kashmir.
It was informed that the scheduled program is designed to facilitate the issuance of Ration Cards to the left out e-Shram Registrants (Unorganised Workers) in order to provide an opportunity for availing Ration Cards and necessary updates if any, in compliance to the directions from Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.
Assistant Labour Commissioner Bandipora, Mohammad Arif emphasized the significance of Ration Cards and encouraged the public, especially unorganized workers, to attend the scheduled camps and subsequently approach the concerned Tehsil Supply Offices (TSO) for obtaining or updating Ration Cards.
