Lady among 3 drug peddlers held with 11.77 gm Heroin, cash in Kathua

KATHUA: District Police recovered 11.77 Grams of Heroin (chitta) like narcotics alongwith cash amount of Rs 18,100 in the jurisdictional area of P/S Rajbagh and three drug peddlers including one lady were arrested in this connection.

In the first instance , Police laid a Naka for checking near DPS Chowk and arrested the lady (drug peddler) Nidhi Shubh R/o Ward No 7 Kathua Tehsil and district kathua with approx. 3.15 grams Heroin (chitta) like narcotics alongwith cash Rs 18100.

While in the second instance, the police team led during routine naka/checking in its jurisdictional area apprehended 2 suspicious persons Narinder Singh R/o Dyala Chak Tehsil Hiranagar and Shubham Kumar R/o Dyalachak Tehsil Hiranagar who were indulged in the illegal smuggling/selling heroin(chitta) like narcotics and enrouted from Banyari towards Khanpur by foot. During checking the police team was able to recover 8.62 grams of Heroin like narcotics.
