Landslide halts traffic on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway; Efforts underway to restore traffic flow
In a sudden and impactful event, both sides of the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway were brought to a standstill this morning due to a landslide at Shalgri, Banihal in Ramban. The incident caused a complete disruption in vehicular movement and left travelers stranded on one of the region’s vital roadways.

As of now, traffic has been halted in both directions, creating a bottleneck of vehicles on either side of the affected area.
Rescue operations are underway with men and machinery on site, working diligently to clear the debris and reopen the highway for traffic.
