Leftover potential beneficiaries to be considered under PMAY(Urban):Baru
JAMMU, December 29: BJP Senior Leader and JMC Councillor Sanjay Kumar Baru accompanied by JMC officials, BJP ward President Ashok Wazir and Jatinder Khajuria today listened the public grievances and register left over beneficiaries for PradhanMantri Aawas Yojana (Urban) in the ward-41 at JMC Ward office Wazir lane.
Speaking on the occasion Sanjay Kumar Baru said that list of leftover potential beneficiaries for PM Aawas Yojana(Urban) from the concerned people of our ward, prepared with the help of our JMC staff and social leaders in the ward. He said to obtain list of leftover potential beneficiaries to be considered under PMAY (Urban) Mission after verification from District Level Committees (DLC).
Baru appreciated the efforts of PM Narendra Modi for introducing the Housing For All Scheme. He said this scheme will help the poor and needy people of Jammu to get access to affordable housing. He thanked the Central Government for providing the necessary financial assistance to implement the scheme.
Sanjay Baru, while listening to the grievances was apprised by the local residents that new streets lights were installed on the electric poles but the required connections were not made resulting in the total darkness in the streets and the roads.
Sanjay Baru told the residents that the JMC has already wired the line line intended to light up the street lights and sooner all the lights will be givne connection with the new line.
While telling about the status on the draining system in low lying areas, he said that many drains have been already built and the left over will be covered in the new multi crore project soon to be allotted.
He also pointed out that he has taken up the issue of continuous thefts in the area and asked the police officials to quickly nab the culprits.
