Legal awareness program held on POCSO Act 2012 in Khaltse

Leh, September 01: Tehsil Legal Services Committee Khaltse conducted a legal awareness program on ‘POCSO Act 2012’ in Higher Secondary School Khaltse today.

 The program was attended by 130 participants.Chairman, TLSC Khaltse Wangial Tsering, and Chairman, TLSC Khaltse, ASI Gh Rasool threw light on the POCSO Act and enumerated different kinds of children-related sexual offenses given in the Act.Further, ASI Gh Rasool encouraged the participants to come forward and report such cases.

The program was attended by Munsiff Khaltse/ Chairman Tehsil Legal Services Committee, Khaltse, ASI Gh Rasool;  Principal, Padma Yanchan; Staff of School; Staff of court and students of the school.
