Legal awareness program on “NALSA (Legal Services to Victims of Acid Attack) held at GDC Samba

SAMBA, FEBRUARY 19: As per the Action plan for the month of February, 2024  issued by Jammu & Kashmir Legal Services Authority(JKLSA) and also under the radiant guidance of  Adnan Sayeed,  Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, and Pr. District and Sessions Judge Samba, District Legal Services Authority, Samba today  organized a legal awareness program on “NALSA (Legal Services to Victims of Acid Attack) Scheme 2015”at Govt. Degree College, Samba. 

Panel Advocate DLSA Tania Pargal, the speaker of the programme, shared her knowledge on the subject. The objective of organizing this programme was to educate   the students about the provision of compensation given to the victims of acid attack as per the NALSA Scheme of 2015.

Dr. Shaveta Chowdhary presented the welcome address, while Ritika, Assistant Professor, GDC Samba conveyed the vote of thanks. 

The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Versha Anthal, Assistant Legal Aid Defense Counsel Samba. 

The program was attended by students, faculty members of the Govt. Degree College, Samba and Para Legal Volunteers of District Legal Services Authority Samba.
