LG Manoj Sinha pays homage to Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji on his martyrdom day
Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today paid homage to ‘Hind Ki Chadar,’ Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, on his martyrdom day. “It is an occasion to recall the teachings and sacrifices made by Guru Ji,” he said.

LG Sinha took to Twitter to express his respect for Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. “Let us rededicate ourselves to the ideals of compassion, equality, brotherhood and justice as epitomised by Guru Ji,” he tweeted.
Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji was the ninth Sikh Guru. He was martyred in 1675 by the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb for refusing to convert to Islam. Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s teachings of peace, tolerance and universal brotherhood are still relevant today.
