LG RK Mathur reviews COVID preparedness in Ladakh
LADAKH Dec 27: Lieutenant Governor Radha Krishna Mathur reviewed preparedness for COVID in Ladakh. LG Mathur instructed Health Dept. for activation of all Oxygen plants, procurement of essential medical items and testing where required.
LG Mathur urged to ensure sequencing in COVID-positive cases to ascertain the COVID variant. It may be added that a sequencer machine has recently been installed and certified for testing.
He also gave directions to ensure that travellers to Ladakh be administered with COVID-19 vaccination if they have not received them yet. He directed to run an awareness drive for the COVID precautions and for the precautionary dose to ensure vaccination saturation in Ladakh.
