LG RK Mathur reviews progress on Hanle Dark Sky Reserve
LADAKH Dec 27: Lieutenant Governor Radha Krishna Mathur held a meeting of officers at Raj Niwas to review progress on the Hanle Dark Sky Reserve. During the meeting, LG Mathur gave directions to draft the standard operation procedure for activities inside the Dark Sky Reserve.
The meeting also discussed the possible activities for tourists/astronomy enthusiasts inside the reserve along with astrology, wildlife & other knowledge-based activities. The prospect of setting up a planetarium & visitors centre was also discussed.
