Live dance performance programme organized in Kendriya Vidyalaya 1

Akhnoor. 24th Apr: A live dance performance program was organized in Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1 Akhnoor. This program was conducted by Routs 2 Roots Institute under Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. In which the culture, literature and art of our country has been promoted.

An effort has been made to create awareness amongst children about the culture of our country by conducting live workshops organised by the Root 2 Root organization. In today’s program, Shri Akhilesh Patil Ji, who taught Kathak dance to the children of Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1 Akhnoor through his dance art, also gave the children knowledge about how Kathak dance is learned and also informed them about other dances of Indian culture. He also told that different types of dances are performed in different states.

He also told how music helps children in their studies and relates other subjects with it.

It was also explained how we express our emotions through dance and how a story can be narrated through expressions. This arouses interest in art and culture in children. At the same time, culture of our country gets promoted.

Along with this, the Principal Mr. Bhushan Kumar encouraged the children to learn skilled arts and explained to the children in detail about the subject of music and told them that music helps them in concentrating their mind.

can contribute in enriching our culture. Our Principal Mr. Bhushan Kumar keeps organizing similar workshops every day.
