Live streaming of ’Ayushman Bhava’ campaign launch ceremony organized across Ramban district
Chairperson DDC, DC attends function at District Hospital, inspect healthcare facilities
RAMBAN, September 13: District Administration, Ramban today organized the live streaming of the launch of ‘Ayushman Bhava’ campaign President, Droupadi Murmu at District headquarters, Block headquarters and Health and Wellness Centers across the district. A large number of officers, public representatives, beneficiaries and participants attended the inaugural function.
Chairperson District Development Council, Dr. Shamshad Shan, Deputy Commissioner, Mussarat Islam, ADC, Harbans Sharma, CPO, Dr. Kasturi Lal, Medical Superintendent DH, Vrinder Trisal, Dr. Mohmmad Rafi, other officers, doctors and staff attended the virtual programme at District Hospital Ramban.
After listening to the address of the Lieutenant Governor, the District Administration passed directions to all stakeholders to participate in the campaign to sensitize people about all schemes and programmes of the health sector.
Urging the PRIs and people, the Chairperson said that Ayushman Bhava campaign is a collaborative effort spearheaded by Gram Panchayats in coordination with the Department of Health, other government departments, and local elected bodies in the rural and urban areas. Its core objective is to extend comprehensive healthcare coverage to every village and town, transcending geographical barriers and ensuring that no one is left behind.
Directing the officers to gear up to achieve cent percent targets, the Deputy Commissioner said that the ‘Ayushman Bhav’ campaign, initiated by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, is a comprehensive nationwide healthcare initiative that aims for full saturation of healthcare schemes, reaching every village and town in the country. This unprecedented initiative builds upon the success of the Ayushman Bharat programme and signifies a paradigm shift in healthcare services.
Later, they also interacted with the patients and their attendants besides taking feedback about healthcare facilities available in the District Hospital.
