Live Streaming of launch of Semiconductor facilities by Prime Minister organized at SMVDU 

REASI, March 14: Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) had the esteemed privilege of hosting the live streaming of the momentous launch of three cutting-edge semiconductor facilities by the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. held at the premises of SMVDU, this event stood as a significant milestone in India’s technological advancement. The live-streamed launch event showcased the inauguration of three state-of-the-art semiconductor facilities, exemplifying India’s unwavering dedication to technological innovation and self-reliance in the semiconductor industry. It underscored the nation’s commitment to fostering indigenous capabilities and reinforcing its position as a global leader in technology. In conjunction with the launch, SMVDU organized an insightful interaction session held in lecture theatre, focusing on “The Role of Academia in Viksit Bharat.” Mr. Pritam Banerjee, representing Trident Tech Labs, offered invaluable insights during the session which was attended by students, faculty, and staff of SMVDU, the interaction provided a platform to deliberate on the pivotal role of academia in nurturing innovation and propelling progress in a developed India.

The event was coordinated by Prof. K. R. Jha, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Manoj Kumar Gupta, Associate Professor at the School of Computer Science and Engineering, and Mr. Ashish Suri, Assistant Professor at the School of Electronics and Communication Engineering.
