LMD Bandipora conducts inspection of Gas Agencies

Rs. 17500 recovered from violators

BANDIPORA, AUGUST 02: In compliance to the directions of District Administration Bandipora, the Legal Metrology Department (LMD) Bandipora under the supervision of Assistant Controller Legal Metrology on Wednesday conducted inspection of Gas agencies. 

During the inspection, compliance of directions passed by District administration from time to time was sought. A fine of Rs.17500 was imposed for violation of various provisions of Legal Metrology Act. 

During the checking, the agencies were directed to adhere to the directions passed by the District Administration in light of MDG guidelines of OMCs.
