Local Narco module unearthed Narcotics recovered: Vehicle seized; One Peddlers arrested

Jammu: Continuing it’s drive against drug trafficking and substance abuse, Jammu Police achieved major success by recovering 6 kg’s of Charas like substance while on naka duty at  suketar jajjar Kotli.

A police team of PS Jajjar Kotli constituted under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota SH.Aakash kohli and led by SHO PS Jajjar Kotli Insp. Azaad Manhas  established a special naka at Suketar National Highway road During Naka/vehicle checking one Dark Grey tata Tiago car bearing registration No. JK02CL5269 came from Udhampur side and going towards Jammu  ,the Naka party gave a signal to stop the vehicle but the driver tried to escape but Naka party over powered vehicle and stopped it.

During questioning the driver disclosed his name as (1) Pritpal singh S/o Kanhaiya singh R/o H.NO. 97/5 Preet nagar Digaina. During the search of said vehicle Charas like substances was recovered from the car  weighing about 6kgs was recovered from back side of the seat cover of the said car.

In  this regard case FIR No. 70/2023 U/S 8/20/25 NDPS Act got registered at PS Jajjar Kotli and accused got arrested. The seizures and arrests were made under the overall supervision of SP Rural jammu Rahul Charak.

Further investigation of the case is going on.
