Lok-Adalat settles 104 cases at Ganderbal; awards Rs.33k as settlement amount
GANDERBAL, MAY 17: On the directions of Justice N. Kotiswar Singh, the Chief Justice, High Court of J&K and Ladakh (Patron-in-Chief J&K Legal Services Authority), and Justice Tashi Rabstan, Executive Chairman, J&K Legal Services Authority, the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Ganderbal today organized Lok-Adalat for amicable settlement of consumer cases.
The Lok-Adalat was held under the supervision of Amit Kumar Gupta, Member Secretary, J&k Legal Services Authority and Ritesh Kumar Dubey, Chairman DLSA (Pr. District & Sessions Judge) Ganderbal, and under the guidance of Nusrat Ali Hakak, Secretary DLSA Ganderbal.
Two benches constituted for the amicable settlement of cases took up 108 cases for settlement, out of which 104 cases were amicably settled/compromised on spot. Rs. 33,904 was awarded as settlement amount.
