Lt Gen Upendra Dwivedi visits Panjtarni astride Southern Route for Amarnath Yatra to review security arrangements

SRINAGAR June 18: Northern Army Commander Lt Gen Upendra Dwivedi visited Panjtarni astride Southern Route for Amarnath Yatra to review security arrangements.

Lt Gen Upendra Dwivedi reviewed the status of deployment of security forces and opening of the Southern Route which was affected by heavy snowfall this season and the preparatory arrangements. He interacted with troops and appreciated their tireless efforts being put in despite adverse weather conditions.
