Lupin launches generic medication in US market

New Delhi, Feb 21 (PTI) Drug firm Lupin on Tuesday said it has launched a generic anti-psychotic medication in the US market.

The company’s product, in strengths of 20 mg, 40 mg, 60 mg, 80 mg and 120 mg, is the generic equivalent of Sunovion Pharmaceuticals Inc’s Latuda tablets.

As per IQVIA MAT data, Lurasidone Hydrochloride Tablets had estimated annual sales of USD 4.2 billion in the US.

Shares of the company on Tuesday settled 0.77 per cent higher at Rs 672 apiece on the BSE.
