Maiden Republic Day Celebrations at Kathua Campus,JU
KATHUA January 26 : NSS Unit -VI at Kathua Campus in collaboration with the Campus
Culture Committee celebrated the maiden 74 TH Republic Day of India. This event
will be held to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India and will be a
celebration of the country's rich culture and heritage.
The celebrations begin with a flag-unfurling ceremony by the Rector Kathua Campus
Dr Meenakshi Kilam , followed by the display of cultural performances, including
traditional dances and songs, showcasing the diversity of the Indian culture by the
students of the Campus. Dr Meenakshi Kilam spoke on the occasion about the
importance of the Republic Day and the role of the Constitution in shaping India&
democracy. The event was compared by the Ms Shikha Khajuria.
Among others the various teaching and Non teaching staff present on the occasion
are Dr. Vivek Sharma,Dr. Sourabh Shastri, Dr. Pankaj Khajuria, Dr. Sunny Sharma,
Ms Ritika Goyal, Dr. Zahin Ansaari, . The whole programme was conducted under
the supervision of Mr. Amit Sharma.
