District Mining Officer Javed Iqbal Cracks Down on Illegal Mining

In a major crackdown on illegal mining, District Mining Officer (DMO) Javed Iqbal led a team that seized 1000 MT of RBM(river bed material) dump at Dhundak area of Surankote on Monday.

The team also seized one vehicle at Mandi and handed it over to the police.

Furthermore, the DMO team identified and dismantled temporary ramps constructed to facilitate illegal mining operations. This decisive action aims to deter future attempts at illegal extraction and restore the affected areas.

The seizure of such a large quantity of RBM dump is a significant blow to those involved in illegal mining.
