Mann Ki Baat: Chhattisgarh BJP leaders listen to programme across state
Raipur, Apr 30 (PTI) The Bharatiya Janata Party held events in several areas of Chhattisgarh on Sunday to allow people listen to the 100th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ radio broadcast programme.
While the party’s state unit chief Arun Sao and state in charge Om Mathur listened to the milestone broadcast at Bhansol village in Raipur’s Arang block, former chief minister Raman Singh attended an event connected to it along with his supporters in Rajnandgaon district.
Former Minister Brijmohan Agrawal attended a similar programme in Bhatagaon locality in Raipur, while leader of opposition Narayan Chandel was at an event in Janjgir.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi has connected with every class of society in the last nine years with Mann Ki Baat. The programme has got worldwide praise as it engages people at the grassroots level,” Mathur said.
In the 100th episode of “Mann ki Baat”, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said the broadcast filled the “emptiness” he felt after coming to Delhi in 2014 and described it as an expression of the feelings of crores of Indians which has ensured he is never cut-off from people.
Noting that the programme started on October 3, 2014 on the occasion of Vijaya Dashami, the PM said it has also become a unique festival of goodness and positivity of the countrymen
