Martyrs’ day commemoration: J&K police pays tribute to fallen heroes

In a poignant tribute, J&K Police remembered the sacrifice of fallen heroes who bravely gave their lives in the line of duty. Among them were SgCt Ghulam Mohammad of Mashwara, Shopian (1998), HC Mohammad Altaf Keena of Bijbehara (2000), and ASI Ab Rahim Sofi of Srinagar (2004).

The solemn remembrance also included Foll Mohammad Rafiq Mir of Bijbehara, Anantnag (2014), SgCt Khurshid Ahmad Tak of Kulgam (2017), and SPO Chandail Singh of Reasi (2000).

J&K Police took to social media to express gratitude for their unwavering commitment and acknowledged the families of these fallen officers, affirming the police force’s dedication to upholding their legacy.
