Mathematics and Science Training for Teachers at DIET Leh

Leh, September 6, 2024: The District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) Leh, in collaboration with Chief Education Officer (CEO) Leh, Nanritam Education, West Bengal, inaugurated two days training program for Teachers of Leh district. The program which focuses on Mathematics and Science education from 6th to 8th grade classes, will be conducted on 6th and 7th September at DIET Leh for various Government schools across Leh district.

This training initiative is a part of collaborative effort to enhance the quality of education by equipping teachers with contemporary teaching methodologies and educational technologies. The program aims to strengthen pedagogical skills of teachers enabling them to make Mathematics and Science subject more accessible and engaging for students.

Speaking at the inauguration DIET Principal stated, “The effective teaching of Mathematics and Science is crucial for developing critical thinking problem skills in students. Through this collaboration with Nanritam education, we aim to provide teachers with the latest tools and technique to foster a dynamic and interactive learning environment”. The training programme will feature a series workshops, interactive sessions and hands on training lead by experts from Nanritam Education. Around 196 Mathematics and Science teachers participated in the program.
