MC Ramban organizes awareness campaign

RAMBAN, May 23:  Municipal Council Ramban today conducted awareness programmes in various wards and schools within the town under fortnightly ‘Meri Life Mera Swachh Shehar’ campaign.

Officers and officials, besides a large gathering of locals, students and senior citizens participated in the campaign. 

The aim of the campaign was to conduct special extensive door to door waste collection drives.

 ‘Meri Life, Mera Swachh Shehar’ is a concept to reduce the production of items that can be recycled and reused and thereby protect the environment.

It is informed that during the fortnight campaign an extensive drive would be conducted to collect plastic, old books, used clothes and footwear from the households of Ramban town.

A swachhta pledge was also taken by the officers, officials, teachers besides a large number of students in Ramban town.
