Medical Camp/ Counselling programme held for Driver Community in Bandipora

BANDIPORA, JULY 02: The District Drug De-Addiction Centre (DDAC) Bandipora, in collaboration with the Motor Vehicles Department, Bandipora, organized a Medical Camp cum Counselling Programme for the driver community at the Main Bus Stand Nusoo Bandipora.


Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Bandipora, Anis Ahmed, Station House Officer, Bandipora, Manager DDAC, Medical Officer DDAC and other concerned were present at the camp.


During the programme, ARTO delivered a compelling keynote address highlighting the severe consequences of drug abuse. He emphasized the importance of the driver community’s cooperation with the DDAC Bandipora to combat this growing menace.


SHO Bandipora underscored the critical role of individuals, communities, and society at large in addressing drug abuse. He encouraged everyone to come forward and contribute to the efforts against this issue.


Medical Officer DDAC along with other medical staff from the DDAC, actively participated in the camp, providing on-the-spot medical services to various beneficiaries.


Counselor, DDAC, Bandipora deliberated about the services and facilities at DDAC Bandipora. He took on the spot counseling session and highlighted the role of counseling in combating this menace.


The programme received positive feedback from attendees and underscored the importance of collaborative efforts in addressing drug addiction within the community.
