Mega Awareness Camp on Govt schemes held at Ganiwan
GANDERBAL, November 06: Pursuant to the directives of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, a remarkable mega awareness camp was today organized at Boys Higher Secondary School Ganiwan.
The event aimed to disseminate vital information about the significance of education and the functions of various government departments in facilitating access to their services.
Sub-Divisional Magistrate Kangan, Javaid Ahmad Rather presided over the event as the chief guest. He shared his profound insights on the paramount importance of education and how various government departments have been established to streamline processes and make public services more accessible.
His address inspired the participants and underscored the role of education in personal and community development.
The Chairperson of Women Development Corporation enlightened the participants about various schemes related to loans and the establishment of self-help groups.
He also provided crucial information about microloans, offering participants the opportunity to improve their economic prospects.
District social Welfare Officer of Ganderbal, educated the participants about various schemes and projects under the Department of Social Welfare. His speech shed light on the comprehensive support available to the community.
Adv. Malik Shugufta Nabi, the Centre Administrator of the One Stop Centre, provided valuable insights into the facilities and support available to survivors at the center. She also introduced participants to the Sakhi club, which plays a significant role in assisting those in need.
CDPO Kangan played a pivotal role in informing the participants about their roles and responsibilities as girls, mothers, and wives within the society. Her session was instrumental in promoting awareness of societal roles and empowering women.
Executive Director She Hope Society for women Entrepreneurs also enlightened the work of the She Hope Society, the different thematic area the society has been working for decades particularly when it comes to the empowerment of women.
