Mega Awareness Rally on Nasha Mukt Bharat organised in Mahore

REASI, December 13: The District Administration Reasi spearheaded an awareness rally in Mahore, District Reasi. The rally was conducted by the Social Welfare department as part of the National Action Plan for Drug Demand Reduction.

The event witnessed active participation from various segments of society, including youth, students, the general public, and employees. The rally was spearheaded by Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Vishesh Paul Mahajan, who engaged with the youth, absorbing their perspectives on the subject and sharing insights on combating the drug menace.

Emphasizing the administration’s commitment, DC Reasi pledged comprehensive support for victims of drug abuse. He urged the youth to collaborate in identifying those affected and encouraged their active involvement in sports. On the spot, he directed concerned authorities to initiate immediate steps for the construction of a playground, fostering increased youth engagement.

The rally was observed with  zeal and enthusiasm displayed by the youth and students. DC Reasi, along with Sub Divisional Magistrate Mazahir Hussain Shah and various officers and officials of the District Administration, graced the occasion, reinforcing the importance of collective efforts in achieving a drug-free nation.

To acknowledge the active participation of students in spreading awareness, coffee mugs adorned with the Nasha Mukt logo were distributed. Approximately 300 participants actively contributed to the rally, marking a significant stride toward building a drug-free Bharat.
