Mega SVEEP awareness event hosted for Senior Citizens, PwD Voters at Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, SEPTEMBER 07: A mega voter awareness programme aimed to encourage Senior Citizens and PwD Voters was organized today by the District Election Cell Udhampur under the guidance of District Election Officer Saloni Rai.

The event took place at the Senior Citizens Club Udhampur as part of the ongoing Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation campaign.
The programme was presided over by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Prem Singh, Dr. Preeti Sharma, SVEEP Nodal Officer, DSWO Kanika Gupta and other officers/ Official attended.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from PwD voters, newly registered voters and local residents.

While addressing the participants, the ADC encouraged all participants, especially senior citizens, PwD voters and first-time voters, to engage actively in the electoral process. He emphasized the vital role such awareness programs play in ensuring that every eligible voter is informed of their responsibilities and the power of their vote.

The event served as an important platform to reinforce the significance of inclusive electoral participation, ensuring no voter is left behind.
