Mehbooba Mufti accuses political parties of buying votes with money
J&K September 24: PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti has leveled serious allegations against rival political parties, claiming that they are attempting to influence voters by offering money in exchange for votes. Mufti condemned these actions, stating that such tactics undermine the democratic process. She urged Election Commission and local administration to look into the matter.
Disturbing reports about money being distributed to buy votes in Budgam & Ganderbal. Urge @ECISVEEP to impress upon police & local administration to stop these electoral malpractices. We’ve seen how brazen rigging of the 1987 election plunged J&K into turmoil. https://t.co/6Jte6s3Tdd
