Member of Parliament Mohmad Haneefa Jan Concludes Tour of Nubra Valley

Leh, October 27, 2024: Hon’ble Member of Parliament Shri Mohmad Haneefa Jan visited villages of Partapur, Hunder, Diskit, Tirith, Sumoor, and Panamik. He was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner Leh Ghulam Mohamad, CEO Tsering Angchok, and HoDs of various departments from Nubra Subdivision.

The MP was warmly welcomed by Councillors Shri Kunzang Lotus (Hunder), Shri Rigzen Lundup (Tiger), and Shri Tsering Sandup (Panamik), who expressed their gratitude for his first visit to Nubra Valley since being elected. They raised various key issues on behalf of the community, including power supply challenges, the need to upgrade Primary Health Centers to Community Health Centers, a review of the Shatse Takna Bridge, and mobile connectivity concerns.

Shri Haneefa Jan also visited community and religious facilities, including the Diskit mosque and Samstangling Gonpa in Tiger, to assess local infrastructure and services.

Engaging with local residents, he listened to their concerns and assured them that he would prioritize solutions to the issues raised. He expressed his appreciation for community’s trust and support.
