‘Meri Maati, Mera Desh’, a perfect tribute to Nation and the Veers who sacrificed for it: S F Hamid
Chairs session with youth; flags-off ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ campaign
ANANTNAG, August 05: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anantnag, SF Hamid todaY flagged-off the “Meri Maati Mera Desh’ campaign at Dak Baglow Khanabal Anantnag.
The Ceremony was organised by the District Administration in collaboration with Yuva Kendra Anantnag.
“Meri Mati Mera Desh” campaign is envisaged as a culminating event of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” from July 2023. This campaign involves planting of saplings, taking pledge on Panch Pran and felicitation and paying tribute to the brave hearts of our nation by conducting ceremonies at Panchayat/Village, Block, Urban Local Body, State and National level. The Tagline of the programme is “Mati Ko Naman,Veeron Ko Vandan ” .
The session was presided over by Deputy Commissioner, Officials from Department of Youth Services and Sports, Education, Rural Development and other departments were also present in the programme.
A rally was also flagged-off by the Deputy Commissioner on the occasion to generate awareness about the upcoming programmes envisaged under the theme ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’.
Youths from all corners of the district participated in the programme.
