Missing Reasi girl found in Kulgam, reunited with family after police’s swift action
A missing woman from Reasi has been reunited with her family thanks to the swift action of the Reasi Police.
The woman’s father reported her missing on February 21, 2024, after she left their home in Tulli (Udhari) without informing anyone. SSP Reasi Mohita Sharma, recognizing the seriousness of the situation, formed a special team to locate the woman as soon as possible.

Through inquiries with family, relatives, and friends, the team gathered crucial leads. Utilizing this information and technical support, they were able to pinpoint the woman’s location in Yaripura, Kulgam district.
A police team led by Inspector Ranjeet Rao, SHO Chassana, conducted raids and successfully recovered the woman. After completing legal formalities, she was reunited with her overjoyed family.
The family and community expressed their gratitude to the Reasi Police for their tireless efforts in finding the missing woman. The Reasi Police reiterated their commitment to remain vigilant against crimes against women, particularly minors, and urged young women to be aware of potential dangers.
