Missing woman recovered and reunited with family in Reasi

A woman from Pouni, Reasi district, who went missing on May 27th, has been successfully reunited with her family. The prompt action by Reasi Police led to her recovery.

The woman’s husband reported her missing at Pouni Police Station, sparking immediate concern from SSP Reasi, Mohita Sharma-IPS. Recognizing the urgency, Sharma constituted a special team comprising the SHO Pouni and Dy.SP Hqrs. Reasi to locate the missing woman as quickly as possible.

Through meticulous investigation, including inquiries with family, friends, and utilizing technical resources, the police team was able to zero in on the woman’s location. They conducted raids at various locations and successfully recovered her.

Following the completion of legal formalities, the woman was brought back to her family. The family, along with relatives and members of the community, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Reasi Police for their dedication and swift action in bringing their loved one home.
