Missing woman reunited with family after 3 years in Reasi
A woman who went missing three years ago has been reunited with her family thanks to the tireless efforts of the Reasi Police.

The woman’s husband, a resident of Dhansal, filed a missing person report in January 2021. Recognizing the seriousness of the situation, SSP Reasi Mohita Sharma-IPS formed a special team to locate the missing woman.
The team gathered information from the family, relatives, and friends, which provided valuable clues. Using this information and technical assistance, they meticulously tracked the woman’s movements and eventually pinpointed her location.
Following a successful operation, the police recovered the woman and brought her back to Reasi. After completing legal formalities, they facilitated a heartwarming reunion with her overjoyed family.
The family and community expressed their immense gratitude to the Reasi Police for their dedication and perseverance in recovering the missing woman.
This incident also highlights the importance of police vigilance towards crimes against women, particularly minors. The Reasi Police reiterated their commitment to protecting vulnerable members of society and urged young women to be aware of potential threats.
