Mission Director JKRLM reviews functioning of MC Hiranagar as Prabhari Officer

KATHUA, February 22: Mission Director, Jammu and Kashmir Rural Livelihood Mission (JKRLM) Indu Kanwal Chib,   today visited MC Hiranagar as the Prabhari Officer and reviewed the progress achieved in the last one month with special focus on the assigned Public Services Deliverables.

During the visit, the Visiting Officer chaired a meeting with the members of the Municipal committee, social activists and officers /officials of various line departments.

The MC Committee members projected several issues and demands & also highlighted the issues concerning the development of Hiranagar.

Taking a comprehensive review of the working of MC Hiranagar, the Mission Director enquired about the steps taken by stakeholders to resolve the issues besides extending support to the departments requiring assistance of the mentor.

Detailed deliberations were held on the issues ranging from road connectivity, electricity related issues, availability of Doctors at Sub District Hospital Hiranagar, new building for Treasury office Hiranagar, Sports stadium for the youth of Hiranagar town, among others.

After giving a patient hearing, the visiting officer assured them that their genuine demands would be taken up with the concerned quarters for early resolution.

Later, the Mission Director visited  the District treasury office at Hiranagar besides inspecting the proposed site for shifting of electric poles.
