Mission Shakti Sankalp Hub Team conducts awareness program for women at Doda

DODA, FEBRUARY 13: Mission Shakti Sankalp Hub for empowerment of women today conducted an awareness program here at Anganwadi Centre (AWC) Akramabad-C.

The initiative, undertaken on the direction of District Social Welfare Officer Tariq Qazi, aimed to strengthen grassroots-level programs and services that cater to women’s socio-economic development. The awareness session was part of the ongoing celebration of the 10th anniversary of BBBP.

The Mission Shakti team engaged with the local community, particularly women and children, to understand their challenges and explore opportunities for their holistic development. The team conducted interactive sessions focusing on key areas, including women’s rights, financial independence, health, nutrition and skill development.

The visit also highlighted the crucial role of Anganwadi Centres in empowering women and ensuring the well-being of children. The team encouraged women to actively participate in self-help groups, take advantage of government schemes, and utilize the resources provided by Mission Shakti for their economic and social growth.
