MNS chief Raj Thackeray meets CM Shinde, discusses housing projects, civic issues
Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], August 3 (ANI): Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray met Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Saturday and discussed people’s issues and several housing projects.
The meeting was held at the CM’s official residence, Varsha bungalow, in Mumbai on Saturday.
The Chief Minister’s Office said, “Raj Thackeray met CM Eknath Shinde with the MNS delegation on various issues related to housing like the redevelopment of BDD chawl, the redevelopment of police housing colony and some other housing projects. Meeting was attended by some senior Maharashtra govt officials too.”
MNS Leader Sandeep Deshpande said, “We went to discuss issues of the people. In the Worli region in the last 5 years there has been no development. On this, some decisions have been taken by the Chief Minister. No discussions were held on politics.
On this occasion, MNS leader Bala Nandgaonkar, MLA Raju Patil, former MNS MLA Nitin Sardesai, spokesperson Sandeep Deshpande, Ajit Abhyankar, Vaibhav Khedekar, Abhijit Panse and other officials were present.
From the state administration, Additional Chief Secretary of Chief Minister’s Office Vikas Kharge, Principal Secretary of Housing Department Valsa Nair Singh, Upper Chief Secretary of Water Resources Department Secretary Deepak Kapoor, Chief Executive Officer of SRA Mahendra Kalyankar, as well as officials of Home Department Finance Department, MMRDA and other departments were present.
