Mock Drill/ Fire Safety audit conducted at District Hospital Kulgam

KULGAM, JANUARY 17: District Hospital Administration, Kulgam in coordination with Department of Fire and Emergency Services Kulgam today conducted Fire Safety audit and Mock drill at District Hospital, here.

During the exercise, participants from para-medical, nursing and technical staff of different sections of the Hospital were sensitized about the Fire Hazard & precautionary measures to be adopted for safety during any fire incidents. 

A live demonstration about handling and operating of Fire extinguishers and mock drill demonstrating various safety measures one can adopt in case of fire incident and natural disasters was also conducted.

Later, an elaborated session on First aid was also held besides evacuation/mock drills, search and rescue exercises were carried out.

The authorities and experts also carried out a Fire audit of the Hospital.
