“Modi government makes promises and forgets,” says Himachal Youth Congress president
Shimla (Himachal Pradesh) [India], May 5 (ANI): Youth Congress has said that the manifesto of the Congress party will be distributed door to door across the state. Himachal Pradesh State Youth Congress President Nigam Bhandari claimed that after June 4, the INDI Alliance government will be formed in the country.
He said that it is a symbol of the frustration and disappointment of Prime Minister Narendra Modi that he is talking about Pakistan, Mangalsutra, Hindus and Muslims, forgetting the work done during the 10-year tenure of his government.
Nigam Bhandari said that it has become clear from the first two phases of voting that the people of the country want change, which is why everyone from the Prime Minister to the Home Minister has started talking untruths.
“The Congress government waived off the loans of farmers and gave schemes like MNREGA. The word guarantee has also been stolen from Congress. Modi government makes promises and forgets,” he added.
Slamming Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said, “The PM, who gave the slogan of respect for women and Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, gave a ticket to the son of Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, accused of sexual harassment from Kaiserganj, and the son and grandson of former Prime Minister Deve Gowda, who was accused of sexual harassment of thousands of women. This shows how much difference there is between their words and actions.”
Negi said that now many BJP MPs have said that this time they will change the Constitution as soon as they cross 400, is it possible that in today’s BJP any MP would have given this statement without the wish of the Prime Minister and the Home Minister.
“Apart from this, the reality of the electoral bond is also in front of the country, the country saw how the BJP wanted to crush the Constitution. Donations have been taken from people by scaring them,” he said.
Negi Nigam Bhandari said that the Congress party will win all four Lok Sabha seats and all the six Legislative Assembly by-elections in Himachal. He said that the Youth Congress is door-to-door promoting the public welfare policies of the state government in the entire state and is demanding an account of the tenure of the last 10 years of the NDA-BJP coalition government at the Centre.
