Modi govt empowered women: Prabhat, Sanjita

JAMMU, 21 April 2024: J&K BJP Treasurer Prabhat Singh Jamwal and Mahila Morcha President Sanjita Dogra addressed a meeting of women at Ward 39, in Toph to seek votes for BJP’s MP candidate Jugal Kishore Sharma.Updesh Andotra, senior leader of BJP Mahila Morcha, Rita Kotwal and Rita Jamwal also addressed the gathering. Prabhat Singh Jamwal, while addressing the gathering said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led union government has empowered the women of this nation, through its sturdy policies, initiatives, and schemes at the ground level. He said that none other than the Modi government has done so much for the upliftment and welfare of women and asked the women to strengthen the Modi government by voting in favour of Jugal Kishore Sharma.

Sanjita Dogra, in her address, attacked the earlier governments in Jammu & Kashmir for butchering the rights of women for several decades. She said that Congress, NC, and PDP utterly neglected this 50 per cent population and took the decisions that favoured their own families only while pushing the future of other women of J&K into darkness. She said that Modi ji took bold decisions to undo the injustice and empowered the women in the J&K along with the whole of nation. Updesh Andotra appealed to them to vote in favour of Jugal Kishore Sharma to boost the development and to continue the decisions that have saved the lives of women in J&K.
