Modi govt reaching doorsteps of people through different modes: Dr. Manyal

Claiming that the Narendra Modi government is reaching doorsteps of people through different modes across the country, Jammu and Kashmir BJP general secretary and former minister, Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, said that “Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra” is one such effective mode in the present era of technology. He was addressing large gatherings at the venues of this yatra in block Rajpura and Panchayat Sanoora of the Samba district.

Dr. Manyal said that in the “Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra”, LED fixed vans are reaching the people in panchayats in rural and wards in urban areas of the Union Territory. The LEDs display various schemes of the union government and make people aware about the same. During the two days, this yatra has attracted a large number of people, including women and children, who displayed keen interest in watching and listening about numerous schemes and programmes. Various government departments like Rural Development, Agriculture, Horticulture, Sericulture, Social Welfare, Health, Banks, Self Help Groups, have their stalls showcasing the achievements of their departments for the benefit of the people, he added.

Dr. Manyal said that the BJP government under PM Narendra modi has done a lot in the fields of development and public welfare during the last about ten years. The “Vikist Bharat Sankalp Yatra” is one of the modes to reach people and act as a bridge between the government and the people, which presents a true and detailed picture of achievements of Modi government through the LED medium.

He said that through this mode, the Modi government is, actually, reaching the doorsteps of the people in cities, towns and villages at panchayat and ward levels and sharing with them whatever has been done for farmers, women, youth, the poor, marginalised sections, interacts with the beneficiaries and identifies such people who could not apply for any scheme and helps them to get registered as fresh beneficiary for future benefits.

He had high appreciation for a colourful cultural event with the message of drug free India, which attracted attention of the people.

Dr. Manyal, on this occasion, also handed over the Svamitava cards to property owners in rural areas.

ACD Samba, SDM Ghagwal, BDO Rajpura, BMO Nud and officials and staff members of different departments were present at the venues.
