Modi’s good governance motivating people to join BJP: Ashok Koul

Jammu : In a simple programme held at party headquarters, prominent members of the Kashmiri Pandit community joined BJP in the presence of general secretary (organization) Ashok Koul, former Minister Priya Sethi, BJP secretary Veenu Khanna, spokesperson Girdhari Lal Raina, Mahila Morcha President Sanjita Dogra, joining committee member Neha Mahajan and other leaders. They were offered party Patkas and assisted in getting themselves registered as party members through online mode.

The new entrants included Dr. Manorama Bakshi, a social development professional and vice-President of all India Kashmiri Samaaj, Sunil Kumar Sher, a Retired Technical officer in R&B (PWD), Ishant Hangloo, a Business entrepreneur (IT Sector) and Veerji Thaploo, a social activist.

Ashok Koul, while welcoming into the party fold, said that the BJP has undertaken a nationwide campaign to convince the prominent persons of various communities and fields to join the BJP and the party is witnessing massive joinings with each passing day. He said that the BJP is of the view that the persons who have excelled in different fields and have become icons, can prove to be of great help in creating a positive narrative in favour of the party in public.

Ashok Koul said that the BJP government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi has done splendid work during the last about 10 years and its schemes have reached every section and region. He said that the people have realized to strengthen the BJP and bless PM Modi to be in the chair for the third consecutive term. He said they are getting motivated by Modi’s good governance model to join BJP.

In many cases, the well-established leaders of other political parties have joined the BJP only due to the reason that the people have developed faith in BJP Narendra Modi government.

Girdhari Lal Raina said that the BJP has become the first choice of the people across the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir like other parts of the country and the party will surely register a massive victory in the 2024 Lok Sabha Polls.

The joining of these members of the Kashmiri Pandit community was facilitated by Anil Dhar, Incharge joining committee Kashmir Displaced District (KDD).

Seh-Prabhari KDD Hira Lal Bhat, KDD General Secretary Harish Krishan Razdan and others were also present on the occasion.
